The Melody Blog is my new musical within a play that I am taking to Edinburgh Fringe this year with a cast of 13.  Some scenes are still to be devised through improvisation workshops.  We will be performing at 6.30pm every night from Monday 14th August to Saturday 27th August at Zoo Roxy, the Warren. In Melody's world, speech does not exist - only song, accompanied by ghostly musicians.  Can Melody escape the dreaded 'Conductor', when she discovers her life is the most viewed video-stream online and that she has been cruelly manipulated to produce songs for an ever more hungry music industry and baying fans. This is a Trumanesque exploration of the nature/nurture debate and much more. As part of the build-up to the show, I will be spending a week in early June without speaking at all . All my communication will be through song.
